the 2021 house hour assembly was livestreamed online and had two emcees. near the second half of the program (after the slido) Hari suddenly turned around and said "eh that girl looks like Jodie" and everyone in the immediate vicinity was like yesss so I said "which one" and she said "the one on the right" and I was so confused. I suppose we had a similar face shape but I thought she looked way more like a junior I knew rather than myself, but the opinion of everyone sitting in that part of the class was unanimous ?! I was still unconvinced so Hari said "she looks like you but without glasses" and I being extremely skeptical took off my glasses, pointed at my face and said "THIS IS JODIE WITHOUT GLASSES"
and then it escalated to that I took off my mask to demonstrate that our jawlines were different and the class volume increased (later on a classmate confided in me that "oh but when you took off your mask it was so funny because it just proved the point even more haha and even Mrs Cheong nodded")(please tell me if I'm misquoting)
later on a trip to the bathroom I came across a friend from another class and I decided to ask her, and she said yeah you do! then another friend came into the bathroom and I asked hER and she said "no not really" then she paused then she said "she looks like you without glasses and with fewer pimples" and "no offence ah" no worries uma 🤩 none taken !!1!1!1
